Brand Design, Design System, User Interface Design, User Experience Design, Prototype 
    Amgen needed to transform how healthcare professionals (HCPs), caregivers, and patients accessed scientific and medical information. The existing platform was fragmented, unintuitive, and lacked cohesive branding or user experience. MedConnect aims to consolidate disparate resources into a unified digital ecosystem, improving accessibility, usability, and trust.

    Challenge
    Healthcare professionals needed a centralized hub for clinical trial data, product information, and medical resources. Amgen’s prior digital ecosystem lacked cohesion, with separate portals and inconsistent access points. This created barriers for users and positioned Amgen behind competitors who already invested in digital-first solutions. 

    Key challenges included:
    • Establishing a unique brand identity that felt both scientific and approachable and separate from the Amgen Identity. 
    • Designing a website that could support diverse content types and host different therapeutic areas.  

    ContributionsAs the lead brand and product designer, I was responsible for:
    • Designing the visual identity
    • Creating a modern, intuitive UI system aligned with Amgen’s brand standards while also feeling unique to MedConnect.
    • Defining page layouts and interaction patterns for a scalable web platform.
    • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align design with business, regulatory, and user needs.

    Outcome 
    The new platform provided:
    • Unified access to medical/scientific content in a single, branded environment.
    • Faster navigation with reduced clicks-to-content.
    • Enhanced trust and usability, reflected in early stakeholder feedback.
    • A scalable design foundation to support future features
